Transcorp established since 1987, has the ability of providing you with interstate furniture storage options in a variety of methods. Predominately we utilize 20ft purposely constructed furniture removal containers and home modules. The 20ft furniture containers can accommodate a 2 to 3 bedroom house or (30m3 to 35m3) of furniture once the packing requirements are taken into consideration. The timber home modules (stored inside our warehouse – 2 or 3 high) can accommodate a few items (typically two home modules are required per bedroom of furniture) or 7m3 to 8m3 per home module. Unlike Self Storage facilities, in both cases we will FREE of charge wrap your items in protective blankets, plastic wraps as required and perform and inventory and condition report for your peace of mind. Below is a summary of the two options and when either solution will best suit your needs.
Option 1 – Interstate Container Storage
Container Storage (20ft) Recommendations and procedure – Saves double handling of furniture items!
Your home, commercial or office move requires storage (short, mid or long term) and will conveniently fit within 1 or multiple of our 20ft fully equipped furniture container(s) that each have a capacity of approx. 30m3 to 35m3 (cubic metres) of furniture. Our furniture containers are designed to safely and securely store furniture and/or office goods. For large moves to our storage facilities we can use multiple 20ft containers with multiple removal trucks and experienced, highly trained removalists (minimum 2 man). Our qualified sales representative will confirm your best option and solution once your furniture inventory is determined.
We arrive with a furniture removal container truck(s) and using our experienced and qualified removalists proceed to load the 20ft container(s) carefully by maximizing the space within them whilst using our removal trollies, straps, furniture blankets and tie downs to safely secure your precious furniture.
We perform an inventory and condition report for your reference at the time of uplift. This will provide you with peace of mind.
Depending on your pickup and delivery location, timing and proximity of the rail network we will transport the container generally via the train / rail network to our nearest storage facility.
Once we load the container onto the truck from the train / rail network, we then unload the container off the truck with our large container forklifts at our closest depot to your desired delivery point and have it securely locked up within our managed storage premises.

We do NOT double handle the furniture contents in the 20ft shipping container we loaded for you. Goods are left safely within the loaded 20ft container until you request it to be delivered (Subject to sole use container)
20ft Furniture Containers Stored
We charge a competitive container storage fee which is paid monthly in advance.
As AFRA and SSA accredited Removal & Storage providers, we can offer very competitive removal / storage insurance for your protection in unforeseen circumstances.
Upon your request we will re-deliver the loaded 20ft furniture container from our storage facility to your new premises by a removal container truck.
We carefully place all your items per your desired rooms / areas making your place easier to prepare and complete.
If requested (refer your sales representative) we assemble beds, desks and cabinets when we deliver your furniture items.
We ask you to sign the document(s) that you are satisfied with your move and we credit you any unused storage fees.
Timber Module Storage Recommendations and procedure – Small to Medium Storage Solutions
Your interstate home, commercial or office move requires storage (short, mid or long term) and will conveniently fit within 1 or multiple home module(s) that hold approx. 7-8m3 (cubic metres) of furniture. Transcorp home modules (timber in design) are designed to safely and securely store furniture and/or office goods. For larger moves to our storage facilities we can load/ unload multiple home modules without issue. Our qualified sales representative will confirm your best option and solution once your furniture inventory is determined.
We arrive with a fully equipped interstate furniture removal truck and using our experienced and qualified removalists (minimum 2 man) proceed to load the truck using our removal trollies, straps, furniture blankets and tie downs to safely secure your precious furniture.
Timber Storage Modules
We perform an inventory and condition report for your reference.\

I cannot recommend Transcorp highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, from the moment i rang to enquire the sales rep Liliana did everything to accommodate me and make our move as smooth as possible. She walked me through step by step even assisting with taking my inventory over the phone as I walked from room to room to avoid having to fill out confusing and time consuming forms at a time I was already extremely overwhelmed. When organising my uplift, l had lots going on but Katrina was so patient and we sorted it all including the change of uplift date due to me coming down with Covid.I was grateful Adam and his offsider were patient and helpful removalists. They fitted my belongings in the truck like a jigsaw puzzle with protective covers on everything. Relatives were on hand to meet the delivery and direct what was required in the house and what was to be packed in the storage container. When it came time for the a actual collection of my parents deceased estate items the removalists assisted with advise on packing and protection to the antique items. Would absolutely recommend using Transcorp Removals for your moving needs whether it be interstate or locally! Amazing people who do incredible work.My experience was a fantastic one all around, my partner and I moved from Hobart to Melbourne, 2 bed unit to a 3 bed home. Starting with the initial phone call and quote done by Lilly, I was very impressed by the customer experience, service and value supplied. I even added on additional items after the first quote and Lilly was lovely helping me to save as much money as possible while adding what I needed, the price was significantly cheaper then other removalists I was quoted by, saving over $1000 in insurance and over $500 in the removal itself (mind you I had contacted with 2 weeks to move and it normally takes more time then that, so they were able to ensure the timing was perfect also. Goods moved 1 day before move out and receiving my goods 1 day after move in.)The move itself was easy and stress free, my grandmother was at the pick up and said "the boys were very lovely, quick and thorough and obviously knew what they were doing", which was amazing to hear as I was worried not being at the property, but they left the house perfect with no damages on the way out getting the job done well.The move in was even better, we were notified by text every step of the journey to let us know when the goods would arrive and received a call from the gentleman at the time they had advised of arriving to let us know they were here. 2 absolute legends of men moved my entire 3 bed home in with ease asking where I would like items to be stored and carrying heavy items up the stairs where necessary. They then went through a sign off sheet asking me to confirm everything was delivered appropriately (which it was) and again leaving no damage to the property or my items.I feel bad that all I bought them was a coffee and a water, wishing now I had bought them a case of beer!!Thank you to everyone at Transcorp Removals as it was an amazing and pleasant experience all-around, and this is coming from someone who worked in Removals for 8 years themselves.If you have read this far along, you should at the very least enquire about a quote on your next move and know you'll be in safe, experienced hands.
Great experience in the lead up to our interstate move. Very helpful consultants on the end of the phone. Punctual, efficient removalists on the day. Main complaint is poor communication around our delivery time. It was left to me to call multiple times to access this information which was a bit frustrating. All of our belongings are currently in storage so can’t yet comment on any damage to goods. All in all pretty happy with the service for our recent move.
Stan and Barbara were really helpful organising our son’s recent move from Perth to Melbourne. We made at least 3 phone calls and as many emails to them while we tried to work out what was worthwhile moving across the country and how many boxes etc we could include within the quote. Each call and email was answered promptly, patiently and professionally. Everything turned up In Melbourne undamaged and within the stated time frame. The price seemed really reasonable, too.
