Buying boxes as a “Do It Yourself” solution will be cheaper than having packing staff and the cost of buying the boxes can range from $3.00 / small box to $18.00 for a Porta robe. Obviously there are TV boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap and butcher paper that will need to be purchased to help safely complete your packing requirements. Moving Pets
Cost: Between $300 – $600
Interstate Pet Transport can be a cost you may not have considered closely. Moving your loving pet throughout Australia will depend on its requirements, size and weight. Car Transportation
Cost: Between $350.00 to 1,250.00
Although some may select to drive their car interstate when moving home, others prefer to fly and have the car transported by a reputable car carrier which Transcorp organizes. Removal Insurance
Cost: Between $250 – $1,000
Regardless how careful the removalists are, there are circumstances where insurance is a wise option to consider. There are situations where it may be not the fault of the removal team and taking out insurance offers a ‘replacement value’ rather than without insurance which may be on ‘market value’ or ‘depreciated cost’ depending on age of the item.
